Misty's comments:

I took this picture around 12 years ago at St. Andrew's Mission's cemetery. My husband and I then had five acres of land with a camper trailer on it in the Blue Mountains just past Dead Mans Pass. This is around thirty miles out of Pendleton, OR. We really got a terrific view up there, and would always take my little 35 mm Fuji camera. This time on our way we stopped at the St. Andrew's Mission which is on the Indian reservation. The only picture I took was of that headstone. It intrigued me because it was old and is one of those four-sided stones. What was even more interesting was that the Native American, which I think is Nez Perce, was 100 years old! To the left side was buried a boy of either 12 or 13 years. When I got the pictures developed, it was the only one out of 24 that looked like that. I don't know if you spotted the figure or head of a person just to the left of the stone, kind of up a ways? Like I say, as soon as I looked at the photo, my eyes went right to the figure or face. I just got instant chills!! Anyway, I just really don't know what to make of it. I don't know if it is anything or just a fluke!! It was totally unexpected! I was really curious as to what you and others thought, because I have never dealt with anything like this before! All I know is that even after all these years, it does the same thing to me!

Another shot of the same headstone
This one has mist on the right side of the photo and another possible 'face' in the mist,
it's about even with the DOD on the right. Click on images for larger views
