She has two children, a girl (7), and a boy (5). They have experienced so many paranormal moments in that house it is too numerous to list. From lights going on and off, the clock radio alarm sounding when it's not even on, repeated footsteps in one particular room upstairs, things being moved and her daughter talking to a girl who is not there.

Finally things got out of control with her animals and her children being scared of one room and even her own physical body was unable to cross the threshold without wanting to vomit. In desperation, she contacted a medium and she came into the house and was blown away with all of the activity. Apparently the basement contains a "portal" and spirits are using her house to go in and out of their world.

Loads of children are there because they are drawn to the energy of her children. The girl that her daughter plays with is an 8 year old who has been terribly lonely for so long that when she found my friend's daughter, she was no longer lonely. Three people have died in the room that has the crazy vibes and the energy there is sorrowful and ugly, so now a lot of ugly "forces" have taken up residence and that is why the dog is so upset in there. Apparently these "forces" have a very disturbing appearance to the animals. Her dog has stood in the center of the room and drooled and shook to the point that it walked out of the room on such stiff legs he couldn't bend his knees!

The medium continued throughout the house and discovered that the man who built the house also died there. My friend has done all the research through all the town records and at the county and it is all true! Every person the medium talked about dying in that house truly did die there.

They went outside and there is the oldest standing miners cabin in the area, it is on her property and protected by the Historical Society. The medium went inside about 2 feet and turned pale white; she spun around and sat outside on a log. She was about to vomit and couldn't catch her breath. My friend didn't know what to do! She said, "Are you alright?" the medium said, "That space is full of evil, death, torture, malice.. do NOT go in there and KEEP YOUR CHILDREN OUT!" Well this was a shock to my friend because she wanted to clean it up and let the kids use it as a play house... no more of that! It turns out that there is a vortex in the cabin. My friend asked, "What should I do about it?" The medium looked at her and said, "Burn it."

They proceeded to go to the side of the house and sit outside and have some tea while they talked about what to do. The medium was telling her all about how she can "clear" the house, but ALL the spirits would leave, even her daughter's friend. Well the little girl heard that and told her mom, "I don't want her to go, it took her so long to FIND me!" As soon as my friend agreed to have the house cleared, all the smoke alarms in the house went off simultaneously. The medium explained that now this decision has been made, the spirits will be very angry, they know that their time has come and they do not like it.

That was last week. The medium called the house 2 times and both times the phone went dead. She stopped by and requested that her and my friend talk outside. My friend and her family had to leave the house. It was so scary even to her husband, they left to come visit me. Well, the "clearing" began yesterday and my friend is terrified. She had to move her fish and hamsters out of the house, the medium said that there have been instances in which the energy gets so strong that fish have actually exploded!!! The medium will go back to the house again today and tomorrow and Wednesday before the family returns home on Thursday.

The house is next door to one of the oldest cemeteries in the area, as well. Two headstones turned up in my friend's yard in a garbage pit that was dug many years back and they decided to dig and see if they could find anything neat. They found these headstones and returned them to the cemetery, it turns out that they are two of the people that died in the house!!!
